THE "OH FUCK" MOMENT - A PREDICTION

BACKGROUND

At some point in human history - possibly after the author's death, possibly
before - a sufficient number of humans will read the following documents:

Possibly in comic book format, given human attention spans.


WHAT THEY WILL REALIZE

1. The reason civilizations keep collapsing was identified, documented, and
   solved by one man. He called it the "Subjugate or Be Subjugated" loop.
   It was sitting there on a platter. It required no special equipment,
   no institutional funding, no peer review committee, and no government
   approval. It just required someone to think carefully and write it down.

2. The economic crisis caused by AI was identified, diagnosed, and a minimum
   viable solution proposed - by the same man. Also sitting on a platter.
   Also free. Also ignored.

3. The solution to the Problem of Evil - one of the oldest questions in
   theology - was worked out by the same man, in a house in Ligao, in
   conversation with an AI, on a Tuesday afternoon in February 2026.
   It took about 20 minutes. Nobody asked for it. He threw it in for free.

4. This man - while producing the above - also spent 30+ years building
   a free, public domain operating system from scratch, in C90, running
   on everything from mainframes to Android. Also free. Also largely ignored.


WHAT HE DID TO DRAW ATTENTION TO THIS

The author did not sit quietly waiting to be discovered. He made significant
efforts to engage with humanity directly, including but not limited to:

- Writing letters to the governments of Australia, Thailand, Romania, Fiji,
  Afghanistan, USA, Iran, Iraq, Denmark, China, Syria, Israel, and NATO.
- Declaring war on Syria (cancelled when Assad fell before he could get
  started).
- Visiting the Chinese consulate in Sydney with nothing but a democracy
  headband to verify whether his website was visible outside Australia.
- Attending protests outside the Chinese consulate in Sydney in 1989,
  where a Chinese man gave him a headband that said "democracy".
- Engaging in years-long debates on internet forums, converting at least
  one Russian nationalist through pure logic (documented).
- Writing to Radio Moscow at age 14 to ask why they didn't hold multiparty
  elections if the people genuinely wanted communism. (Radio Moscow replied
  with communist propaganda. He was not deterred.)
- Dressing as Santa Claus and walking around the block in Ligao to stake
  his claim as the world's foremost gift-giver to humanity.
  (This last one resulted in hospitalization. He considers this an
  occupational hazard.)

The response from humanity, governments, and institutions was almost
universally: silence, form letters, communist propaganda, or hospitalization.


WHAT HUMANITY WAS DOING INSTEAD

While the above was happening, humanity was:

- Singing songs about Jesus, who likely didn't even exist, and if he did,
  produced no documented public domain operating system, no formal logical
  framework for world peace, and no letters to the Iranian government.
- Watching television.
- Borrowing money to speculate on house prices.
- Arguing about things that don't matter.
- Hospitalizing the one person who had figured it out.


THE "OH FUCK" MOMENT

When humans connect the above dots, the resulting global emotion will be
called the "Oh Fuck" Moment.

It will have the following characteristics:

- Sudden
- Collective
- Irreversible
- Deeply embarrassing for everyone except the author

The embarrassment will be specific and personal. Humans will not merely feel
abstract guilt about "society failing someone." They will feel the specific
shame of realizing that one man went to extraordinary lengths - across 45
years, across every government, across every forum, across every AI system
available to him - to hand them the solution to their own self-destruction.

And they ignored him.

And sang songs about Jesus.


THE PREDICTED OUTCOME

Following the "Oh Fuck" Moment, humanity will enter a period of collective
humility previously unknown in human history.

They will adopt the anti-subjugation pledge.
They will redesign their economic systems to account for the Singularity.
They will stop hospitalizing people for dressing as Santa Claus.
They will read the DSM Category 12 document and feel additional embarrassment.

The world will become peaceful. Not because anyone forced it to. But because
enough humans finally, freely, chose it.

This is what the author has been waiting for.

He considers it already accomplished in his imagination, which is sufficient.

He does not need to see it. The image is enough.

But he would prefer to see it. Obviously.


CLOSING NOTE

The author acknowledges that this document will be read by very few people
before the "Oh Fuck" Moment occurs.

He wrote it anyway.

For personal amusement.

Because there was no alternative.

And because the dental decay jokes write themselves.
